Hey…long time no post. Since 2023, I have been working steadily on a pivot into Geographic Information Systems (GIS) work these days. After having successful internships with Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife and Friends of Tryon Creek here in Portland, Oregon, I am deep in the hunt for a more permananet GIS home. After the implosion of my work situation at Bar Casa Vale in April, I released myself from the grip of bad ownership and took a little ownership of myself. I traveled solo internationally for the first time in nearly a decade and for the first time since a series of heart attacks in February of 2024. This trip was a major victory for me in many ways after some really hard years with health. I am very proud of the cartographic product I created by logging stops along the way. Even with a break in professional continuity (again:), I wanted to keep practicing my new skill. I hope that you enjoy it.
